Kill Yourself

Towards a new YOU
In everyone's life a time comes when you are frustrated. You see failures time in and time out.Your frustration increases to such levels when you think of nothing else but go away from that particular situation and subsequently this world.

But that's nothing but cowardice.

The best way to manage such a situation is to kill the your baggage you are carrying.

The best way is to kill all those memories that will haunt you forever and will not allow you to take positive steps in life.

A simple trick like thinking that today is your first day in that situation or in that workplace or in that assignment.

With your past gone you feel like a new born. The advantage of beginner's mind helps you to start afresh.

Though its is difficult to fake the truth but extraordinary situation demands extraordinary measures.

You are what your Mind is.Understanding this simple fact helps you in faking that your past is dead.

Long live your Present and kill your Past!!

Breaking down the Silos

A chance interaction between a Sales Manager and the Product Manager of the same company have thrown open many doors of collaborations. Both being matured professionals were surprised though they were working for the same goals have not interacted on many issues concerning them.As a result the biggest sufferer was the organization.

This is primarily  because of each team work in isolation. The Silos created by the imaginary divisions in an organization for the better focus have been instrumental in directing efforts in non collaborative ways.

This is prevalent in most of the organizations across the world. As a result every team is striving to achieve its own goals and this though unintentionally pulling the organization in multiple directions and thereby derailing and defocusing from the chosen goals.

One argument can be that Silos help creativity. That can be true to some extent but even creativity requires people to talk about their ideas ,bounce them off to other teams for non biased views.

Meeting of the minds of the team heads is useful but breaking breads among the members of the various team is more important. This helps in understanding of the common goal and marching towards it by helping each other. The interpersonal skills is one area which benefits the maximum and delivery improves as nobody will try to out do each team as there is now a common goal.

As they say "No man is an island entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main…"
